Sorry, Sorry--Did I step on your toe?
I love Super Junior. Absolutely. Admittedly I was a bit iffy about a 13 member group at first and at a stage I was even LOL-ing at the thought. I mean 13 members? Like what?--Do they each sing a line or what? (Which they do and it's all the more exciting when you do hear your favourite voice.)
Do I have a favourite voice?
Yes. Definitely Kyuhyun.
Do I have a favourite member?
After getting to know them...no, I've decided that I don't like any one member more then the other, I love them all equally but in different ways.
So it's really exciting that their comeback will happen any day now and I can't wait to see their new style. But I have to confess that I don't know what to think of their new song. Right now I can't help but think that it's something that came off a Britney Spears album, what with the Womanizer-esque sound. Or Rihanna or Daft Punk. Not to mention that it's going to be a total bitch to sing live.
But maybe it'll grow on me.
And from the promo shots, I can safely conclude that I still FUCKING LOVE HEECHUL. His hairstyle is totally rad and looks like he just made a time jump from the 70's; the age of drugs, alcohol and dubious sexual preferences. I don't know why, maybe it's the angle of the picture, but Kibum kinda looks caucasian and like he too took a time jump from the 70's; the age of Hippies and weed. And because I can't really see his hair or clothes, I'll just say that Sungmin has the most perfectly shaped nose this side of the hemisphere.
Kyuhyun looks like he retains his usual longish, swept to the side hairstyle, which incidentally is my favourite look on him. He looks younger with longer hair. Of course it doesn't help that I prefer long hair on men. Hankyung's looks pretty much the same, just darker than his Don't Don hair (which is my utmost favourite on him and Heechul) and longer than his Timeless hairstyle, which I didn't really like. And Kangin; my dad has a hat just like that.
I said that I like long hair on guys, but in this picture Ryeowook and Donghae's styles make it seem like they have big heads... so I'm pretty on the fence with theirs, but I definitely dislike Siwon's hair. I love Siwon. He's practically perfect in everyway, but this hairstyle makes him look chubby. Likewise, I love his Don't Don era 'do the most.
Shindong has always had the weirdest hairdo's of Super Junior, but not weird sexy like Heechul, or weird dorky like Eeteuk. Just plain weird, weird, so I wouldn't be really surprised by anything. It looks pretty normal from this angle though. Eeteuk, I rejoice the day for you look like a man once again. I mean I like the Don't Don hair when it was spiked up for the photoshoot, but post-Don't Don it just looked lifelessly flat. Let's celebrate the return of masculinity to the mother of Super Junior. Yesung looks like he has the same hairstyle, only with shorter bangs and parted the other way. Looking at the picture you wouldn't even imagine the big dorky spazz hiding beneath the calmness. I like Eunhyuk's hair and the pictures looks really sexy.
Anyway, I'll be eagerly awaiting their sure to be awesome comeback. They are SUPER JUNIOR after all!
