Oh Super Junior music. I barely knew ye
Super Junior and I go way back. They were the group that got me into Korean music in the first place and I remember my very first love in Kpop and back then my ultimate bias (long before Dongwoo) was the awesomely talented and snarky maknae Kyuhyun. I lost interest in their music after Sorry Sorry and I started disliking some of the members for being obnoxious dicks around the same time; so the combination of what I consider lousy Korean techno-music and some of the members (and I stress not all) being gigantic douches made me just not care about them anymore. Which is sad because like I said, if it wasn't for Super Junior I wouldn't be here right now.
I listened to Bonamana once, didn't like it. I watched their latest MV, Mr. Simple earlier because I was curious the way people have been orgasming over it. I don't like it. The MV is okay, although seriously Kyuhyun when did you become so hot? I found him hot in the beginning, but then I don't know if it was puberty (or the Korean-idol version of puberty because isn't he like 23?) he started looking really awkward and gangly. But all of a sudden he's looking so incredibly hot again. And I wish Super Junior's music PD would ixnay on the autotune. It's really one of the main reason why I can't stand their music anymore, instead of sounding like a song being sung by a human being it's more like robotized noise trying to generate humanized voices. I wished they'd go back to their U, Don't Don, Twins--whatever song that was autotuned to absolute hell--days when music was music, Kyuhyun could display his amazing vocal chops and everyone sounded human. Enough with this robotized techno shit.
I'm sorry if I offended Super Junior fans out there, this isn't just my opinion and like I said, I was a fan and I'd like to be a fan of their music again. Right now it should sounds like computer-generated music recycled from their past hits.
Now if anyone needs me, I'll be by the docks bidding farewell to Infinite's chances of winning anything as it sails off into the abyss towards Never Never Lands.
