Red Riding Hood's Red Hood has more chemistry with her boys than she does
I watched Red Riding Hood in the cinema earlier and while I'm seldom bothered to do a personal review for movies I just had to say this; it has happened, I never thought I'd see the day but believe it or not this movie has even WORSE acting and even LESS chemistry between the leads than Twilight. What is it with Catherine Hardwicke and crappy teen movies? Do these teen movies actually become crappy because they're being directed by her? If so how is she still getting jobs? And as far as on-screen chemistry goes, if this is anything to go by I extend the same question to Amanda Seyfried.
It's not secret that I'm only watching this movie for the hot boys, namely Max Irons--yes, son of THE Jeremy Irons DILF. Hot parent genes not being extended to their offspring obviously isn't the case here. If I had to categorize his looks, I'd have to go with taller and hansomer version of Robert Pattinsons but based on this movie, acting talent wise they're pretty much on the same sub-par level. You may also recognize him as the dude who made out with Ben Barnes in Dorian Grey (NGL best part of the movie) and Shiloh Fernandez who looks like a mish-mash of various good looking actors including but not limited to Kevin Zegers.
It is also no secret that if two hot guys so much as share eye contact I would board that ship faster than you can say manwich and seriously there is more sexual chemistry IN THIS PICTURE than Amanda Seyfriend had with BOTH of the guys in the ENTIRE movie.
In fact, there's more sexual chemistry here than Amanda Seyfried had with ANYONE for the duration of the film. And Billy Burke A.K.A. Charlie Swan, Bella's ever suffering father who was one of the only people exhibiting acting talent in Twilight is just...wow, he was so terrible I just have no words. I'll go out on a limb here and say that he was one of the worst in the whole movie and that is saying A LOT.
But of course with all the bad parts, there was some good and memorable parts, one of them being the aforementioned hot boys of course, secondly GARY OLDMAN Y'ALL. Most amazingly campy, murdering priest ever.
