I loved it. Honestly.
It was missing some stuff (mostly about Ginny, but then again, I wasn't expecting much in that area, and I have some issues with that which I'd like to take up with David Yates and Steve Kloves), but I thought this was the most faithful to canon so far. I may be wrong, but still...
McGonagall rocked it! I always thought that she was a bit forgotten in the later books, but the movie made her shine. Maggie Smith was the bomb. :)
One of the best parts for me was Helena Bonham Carter as Hermione/Emma Watson. (You'll understand when you see the film). She was awesome - she even got Emma's penchant for acting with her eyebrows down pat. LOL.
And Neville! Squee!
What I did love about it most was that the film was almost all about Harry. Not Hermione (finally!), not Luna, not Hermione and Ron as a couple, but about Harry. Which is what the books were all about in the first place.
Definitely worth watching over and over - so I'm seeing it again on Saturday. For those who've already seen it, what did you think?
