I didn't see the bottom of Emma's dress during the live feed, but I think it's fantastic, although she must have been freezing! Bonnie's look is a bit dowdy for a 19 year old at a red carpet event! I was tickled to see Rupert in a suit and tie, actually looking like this was a big event (for the first time, if I recall). Dan always dresses nicely for the premieres.

Emma's dress is very un-Hermione, but very fashion forward. Not too sure about the see through lace top with her bra peeking through though. I agree with you about Bonnie - she's had better looks before and given her recent rash of amazing magazine covers, I wonder why she chose this particular dress. Maybe because it was cold?

H/G's kiss is forgettable for non-H/G fans. It's only H/G fans like us who squeed in HBP *is sad

I'm disappointed w/ Bonnie's choice, a few evenings ago, she was wearing a sexy black D&G LBD, so our hopes are high that she'll be rocking it at the premiere :(

Emma's dress (lace & feathers)... looks like a Vegas costume.

Bonnie should hire a better stylist. I'm sure it was a good dress, but she could have done way better. Maybe it's in the way she poses?

I still hate the fact that the H/G kiss in HBP was so muted and timid. *sigh* :(

While watching the preview, I though Bonnie looked fantastic. I didn't notice the actual details of the dress. They probably just shot her mostly waist up anyway. It does look a little dumpy in a still frame.

I thought Rupert seemed the most uncomfortable dealing with the fans. Emma was a natural.

Emma knows how to work the crowd, being the one with the most exposure out of all the HP cast. Can't say I'm liking her hair too much. I think I prefer her with the longer length.

I wanted Bonnie in a more spectacular dress - it's only the premiere of one of the most awaited movies of the year after all - she needs to make a statement! I wouldn't put her in a dress like Emma's - it wouldn't suit her - but something with a little more 'wow' factor.

Yes, Emma was very un-Hermione-ish, but I think that was her point, with that dress and that haircut. I thought that Bonnie would wear something a bit more spectacular, but both the guys look smashing!

The guys look quite snazzy - especially Rupert, who was actually wearing something aside from jeans, a shirt and a jacket. Oh, and I'm thankful that Dan wasn't wearing something odd - remember that green velvet suit he wore some time ago? ;)

Dan's outfits often scream "trying too hard" to me, but he (or his stylist) hit it out of the park with this one.

Yes, they did. It's a very elegant suit.

I just realized - has anyone noticed how orange Emma's legs are compared with her face and arms? She should have been more careful with applying that tanner, unless it's the camera making it appear like she's two-toned. I actually prefer Bonnie's pale English complexion - it sets off her hair beautifully.

I think we're going to have to steal ourselves for "Emma Watson and the Deathly Hallows." That seems to be the focus of most reviews and sneek-peak comments. I wouldn't mind if the tone is right - in all of the H/Hr scenes in the book, Harry was so *miserable*. Doby's death really was the turning point for Harry - when he had finally made up his mind and took charge. I hope the second movie will reflect that. Somehow the characterization of H/Hr's dance as sweet and smile-worthy sets my teeth on edge. Harry threw a blanket over her when Ron left - that was it.

*sigh* I know. Someone reviewed that Emma was the "heart" of the movie, with her "no-nonsense" approach to acting. Uh, okay. I think she's a lovely girl and certainly quite pretty, but I've always thought that she acted with her eyebrows.

I'm with you on the tent dance. They never tried to lighten up the mood - they barely even talked to one another because Ron's leaving made them both so miserable they just withdrew into themselves. Why the hell would they even think of dancing? It's definitely a scene wherein I'll close my eyes until it's all over. ;)

I wonder if there's still anyone delusional enough to think they'll actually get the movies right. Sometimes I wonder why I put myself through this, but the truth is I can't stay away.

Well, not exactly get it right, but I do wish they would stop inserting superfluous scenes that don't do anything for the movie except to promulgate the H/Hr pairing, however delusional it is. :)
