The Heat of the Moment

Well it could have been hot, had they shown up…. Styx the super cool 80’s band was suppose to play a free concert in Downtown Orlando at 4:00pm by 8:00 still no sign of them and the open band really sucked so we left. The open Band was running out of stuff to play and they kept saying “oh just a few more songs,” then a few songs later, “just a few more songs”. By the time we got tired of waiting there still was no sign of Styx, no tour busses and a bunch of DJ’s stalling thier pants off.
My other time in Orlando has been good, I like being a tourist here more than liveing here. Matt’s new home is a cute, typical florida home with cinder block walls and no basment - they just don’t do that in Florida.
Also hung out with Mark - also from Minneapolis, came here to go to school and desperitlay wants to go back to Minneapolis. Both of them (Matt and Mark) were making thier plea’s for me to find a job in Orlando and stay.
But… I like what I have going on right now in Minneapolis, I have great old freinds and I am digging WD and all the new things he is bringing into my life in the performance arena. I don’t want to leave, I really don’t. If a unbelavalbe job presented itself, I would consider it - but Orlando is really not in radar for me.
