The long awaited night came for me to go see Midsummer’s night dream at the Guthrie Theater. My friend WD saw it about a month ago and was amazingly good at not spoiling any of the amazement to me.

The director Joe Dowling is known for his innovative take on theater, and this production was no different. One of the unique things about his abilities is telling the story that way Shakespeare would want it, in a way that connects with current them and theatrics.

From the high flying acrobatics to characters than make you pea your pants laugh in their interpretation of the characters. If there is still time to go when you read this, go you must - GO you must J It only runs until June 22, 2008
