We have charlie_awards! Awards (finally!) for our favourite dragon keeper!
I want to make sure all of you know about this since I suspect (*cough*cause these awards were my idea*cough*) that a lot of your stories are going to be getting a lot of attention over there: We now have charlie_awards. Do check out the community and watch it for future details! These are set to start after the reveals of the charlieficathon (which is currently posting) so that all of those stories and art will be eligible as well!
Finally our boy gets some love-- and those of you who have made him what he is in fandom today-- well you'll get the recognition you deserve, which is exactly what I hoped would come out of these awards! So thank you, lilbitbord for taking over and making sure that my (rather forceful) "suggestion" came to fruition! *Thanks Mr. Lilbitbord as well because he became my partner-in-crime in the convincing department-- God is she ever easy!*
So give her love, give the community love, and start making your lists so you'll bombard her with nominations in March. There are so many of you who took a tiny little canon character and turned him into an ever so hot, larger than life, freckled and inked to death dragon keeper to steals my breath away-- and you deserve some acknowledgement for that. I know I'll be gathering up my nominations!
There are several pimping banners on the community (Thank you merlins_babe!) so go forth and pimp these awards far and wide.
ETA: I want to make sure everyone's clear on this because I wasn't sure I was: There are no restrictions on this fest. If it stars Charlie (regardless of when it was created) it is eligible. These are the first awards so all those past favourites you have-- make sure they get recognition. Both art and fics. It's like Christmas came again, I'm so excited!
(And you're probably going to see this a ridiculous number of times today, since I'll be cross-posting it like crazy!) Thus, I shall spare your f-lists with a cut!
