IR testing with your cell camera!
I know that some of the things at this "life hacks" poster are false, but I just did this one and it works: very neat.
Test your remotes:
If you point a TV/DVD remote at a cellphone camera and press any button (on the remote) you can see the infrared light This trick will also let you see if IR security cameras are on in the dark.
