Fall Kick is were I was after practice on saturday. It's an event of my church's out at copneconic. Games, bible studies, games, food, games, that sort of stuff. It was weird though (i remember thinking this last year) because copneconic is...band camp, i don't think of it as anything but that. As I was out there i kept expecting to see Palmer or someone. Or have Mickey and Amandaconda making a band bed in the conference center....
I'm gonna miss band camp....
On a lighter note, friday was fun. I actually acquired a decently bad headache near the end of practice but that went away shortly after. The game was good, well actually I only care so much for the game...I went for two reasons. 1) To be with friends and 2) To see their marching band. They were alright but not "incredible". That's only performance wise though. The kids in the band are really cool. I talked to a bunch of them after half-time.
Hmm, wind ensemble tomorrow. I wonder whats going to happen in second hour, it may prove to be rather interesting, and NO THERE WILL BE NO FIGHTING!!!!! Ahem, anyhow.... After the game we tried at a failing attempt to find ice cream. Somehow though, three cars of band kids can't seem to find any. So we ended up at 7-11 with slurpee's and junior mints instead. (Junior Mints do not make good projectiles.) Yeah, so then everyone went home shortly after that.
~~I suppose it worked, she did say creative right? Considering that I didn't stop hearing about it the next morning I imagine it was a good idea. I'll have to top it later in the year though, hmm...~~
