I can somewhat see where the Shanoa vote is coming from, but you seem a lot more confident, sarcastic and impatient than I ever saw her act throughout the course of Order of Ecclesia. Hector, on the other hand, seems to fit your personality traits and perspectives rather well. It wasn't just the adjectives you listed, but the way you answered "What do you think of humanity?" and "How would you change the world if you could?" reminded me a great deal of him.
As a devil forgemaster gone man looking for a halfway normal life, he obviously knows the evils of this world, but can see the beauty in it as well. He is realistic, but that doesn't stop him from shaking his head at the monsters and evils that thrive. Your desire to create more open-mindedness among others seemed to say Hector to me in that, I think he would want that as well. If others were more open-minded, perhaps he would not have lost Rosaly.
He's a character that, I think, handles antagonistic people and whatnot realistically and calmly, but is clearly not a pushover. He would be wary of random travelers in the forest and be cautious of the surroundings themselves. Your admiration for genuine compassion and the like reminded me of his relationships with Rosaly and Julia.
