I am surprised it takes that long for the results. I have learned more about kidney disease than I ever thought I would know this past year with my kitty. No I am not comparing your mom to a cat. :-) Not sure how it is with people. I just know with her by the time they diagnose it there is already a large percentage that is damaged. That didn't come out right...I wasn't trying to be negative! Gah. I am not doing this right.
That is incredible about the edema. I bet she feels much better after losing the 20 pounds. That has got to feel miserable. Sounds like the new doctor is heading in the right direction. I am sure Kendall is stressed out. I mean now he is probably in more of a caregiving role. It's hard for everyone. Are they treating her depression as well? I hope they will address that.
My dad is really different too. I mean we don't know if he has had a mini-stroke or what but his personality is so different. It's really hard to be around him now. He seems like a stranger.
Thanks for the update. I have been meaning to ask you about her. My memory is just like swiss cheese lately. :-( No indication of my caring. Honest.
