Pretty good day
Today was fairly calm and smooth in the baby department. It was also nice to have Ben home for breakfast. I made sausage and biscuits and gravy. Ben had to leave around 10:45 and after I fed Bailey we took a trip to Costco. I never go to Costco on my own. Usually it is an escape for a few when Ben goes to pick up paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
Let me just say I have never went through SO MANY paper towels than I do now having a child LOL
Anyhoo, about 2 months ago, I tried to sit Bailey in a shopping cart and she wasn't ready for it so I have been putting off trying again til I knew she was good and stable. Today was wonderful. She was SO HAPPY to be riding in the cart... trying to reach things on the shelves and even touched another kid while we were browsing the books. It was fun.
She took her afternoon nap a little after 2 and I fell asleep with her. An hour and 45 minutes later... YES! I got a long nap lol I'm a happy camper but still very tired so my goal for tonight is to be in bed by 9. We will see how that goes.
Bathtime just got more interesting tonight. I took out the netting in the baby/toddler bathtub and she got to play in the water. She was really confused at first but got the hang of it toward the end. I think in a month I will switch to the regular tub but for now, I'm just going to do it this way!
I'm not feeling too great tonight. My stomach is upset and Bailey also threw up a little before I put her to bed. I think hers is more of the fact she didn't like what I gave her for dinner. That little nose wrinkled up with every bite I gave her but she ate it! And then she got rid of some of it. Oh the joy.
I'm not really looking forward to reheated fish and french fries but that's what I got. There is leftover spaghetti in the fridge but I will leave that for my growing teenager of a husband! (Meaning I have no idea where he puts all the food he eats!) I've had spaghetti 3 days in a row and I'm done with it.
