It's getting easier
We're all doing great. Bailey is a really good baby... of course there are days when I question that LOL but knowing her cries and what they mean make it a lot easier these days. She's been sleeping in her crib every night for a couple of weeks now. I'm not saying she stays asleep for very long sometimes but there were a couple of nights when she slept 6 hours straight!
I finally got my monthly visitor today - 8 weeks since delivery and it's totally different so far from the ones I got prior to having the baby. Let's hope it stays this way!
Ben left today for San Diego and will be gone until the 20th. His birthday is on the 16th so we grilled steaks last night since we won't be together for his special day. I got him a card from myself and from Bailey (To Dad)
Our anniversary is on Aug 22nd - 3 years! (Of course, it's been a total of 9 since we have lived together) My friend Jessica has volunteered to watch Bailey while we go out to dinner on our anniversary. Now we just need to find out where to go and we'll be all set.
Since I've been home during the weeks, I've gotten into Tori and Dean reruns. Sally, I know you've talked about this show for some time now but I never saw any of the episodes. It's addicting! It's also funny how I am planning a ladybug themed birthday for Bailey and just saw the episode where she had one for her daughter and got more ideas from it LOL I've also become accustomed to reruns of Roseanne - one of my fave shows ever!
Pretty soon I will have to start looking in to a job that I can do here at the house that will allow me to stay home and take care of Bailey. I'm looking forward to handing over my resignation letter on Aug 24th.
