All with the new faces everywhere again, I see.

Welcome aboard, I'm Buffy, if you have any vampire related problems knock on my door, etc. etc.

I'm down at the gym pretty regularly so if anybody's ever up for a little friendly sparring, I'm your girl.  Though I feel the need to warn you to leave your B game in your cabin.  Slayer powers = genuinely ( Read more... )

I'm not sure a TV show is better or worse than a comic book.

Is that where they're pegging you from?

I'd say better in that fewer people will probably bug you about it - but the people who do are more likely to know way too much about your life, if my experiences with comic book nerds tell me anything.

Yup. Well--people from my world, anyway. No one seems to have heard of me though, which works for me. I wouldn't be too sure about the TV nerd vs. comic nerd thing, though. Trek fans are pretty intense, and I had a friend back home who was highly obsessive over his favorite show. But I think he mostly had a crush on the main character. What's your TV show called?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Which just wins all kinds of points for creativity, I'll tell you.

That... seriously?

...We don't have that show where I'm from, but--I did some acting after the Olympics. On a show called Wendy the Werewolf Stalker.

That's what Roxy said.

This is me breathing a sigh of relief. I'm hoping that's the case for most people.

The Werewolf Stalker? [She laughs.] Were you ... Wendy?

Ha, no. I was--well, her best friend, who was a witch, had a crush on my character. It was fun, but acting's not really my thing.

...Plus, there was a thing with real werewolves attacking while we were filming. That was not so fun.

Sounds like you guys were ahead of the times on that whole reality TV wave.

How'd you stop them?

Heh. I don't think it was intentional, at least.

...Uh, I kind of whacked one over the head with a crossbow and we dropped water balloons filled with Nair on them.

... Ok, that meets with my full approval. I'm going to have to add that to my personal grab-bag.

Who knew werewolves were so vain, right?

And here the one I used to be friends with was always so chill.

You were friends with one? Wow. ...Then again, one of my best friends at the time was a ghost, so I guess that's not too strange.

Yup. But the friendly kind of werewolf, not the... enjoys eating people kind.

A ghost, really?
