no thailand this weekend...boo-hau....alina and i just made the executive decision not to trek out to the airport and do some far-fetched bargaining for seats on a plane that takes off in 2 hours. i have the feeling i'm going to regret it though just because of how kickass it would sound to say that while the rest of my college class was graduating, i was at the hong kong airport begging to get on a last-minute flight to bangkok via a sketchy african airline.
