[Standing in the middle of the square in City Overground. He doesn't look outright scared, more like uneasy and very nervous - he sticks close to the center of the square, in plain sight, looking around constantly but not taking a step in any direction.]

Are you alright?

I-I can't find my brother an'....an' I dunno where I am.
[Stares at.]
Aniki told me not to talk to strangers.
Reply
Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to help.
[He looks around, searching.]
How does your brother look like?
Reply
Tall an' he has dark skin an' pale eyes an'....an' he doesn't yell. An' his name is Johann. 'M Mikhail, who're you?
Reply
Hello, Mikhail. I am Sora- Kamal Majirif.
[He furrows his brow, wondering what he should do with Mikhail. On normal circumstances he would have simply taken him to the orphanage, where children who have missing relatives were taken to. But this wasn't the Middle East, and he was just as lost as this kid was, so he wouldn't be of much help.
But wherever this place is, it isn't safe (nowhere is, with the corrupted Federation), so he's going to try, anyway.]
You see, I am lost, as well, and am searching for an ally of mine. Perhaps, if we look together, we can find them?

[He scratches his head. He doesn't want to leave this spot, in case Johann came back to find him gone....but he doesn't want to do nothing, and maybe it'd be easier to find Johann with this guy's help.]
Um......yeah, okay! [Takes Kamal's hand, holding it tightly and looking up at him with expectant, wanting-to-trust eyes.] What does your friend look like?
Reply
Ah... You can just call me Kamal.
[Thank Allah the kid is beginning to trust him. Cue reassuring smile! Nothing horribly wrong with that at all, eh? He stands up and leads Mikhail around the Square, hoping to find a place where they could stay.]
I have only seen him once. He's tall, with wavy hair. He's an Irishman.
How old is your brother, Mikhail?
Reply
[Toddles after, trying not to stub his toes on anything - is barefoot and all. He thinks about if he knows any tall wavy-haired Irishmen.]
But if ya only saw him once, how'dja know he's a friend?
.....old! I think....I think over six years older, an' I'm six.

[Glances at Mikhail and smiles again OH ALLAH WHY]
You're really brave, not crying even if you've lost your brother.
[Ponders for a while, looking thoughtful, before stopping and crouching down so he could see Mikhail eye-to-eye]
Would you mind if I carried you? Your feet might get wounded.

I-I din't lose him! Lockon tol' me that too but there's no way Aniki is lost, he's okay somewhere! I know it, he's gotta be-!!!

Only lil' kids cry!
[Doesn't edge back this time, looking into Kamal's eyes with a shy kiddie smile, already forgiving Kamal for his assumptions about Johann.]
I'd be fine, boys'r tough....! But I wouldn't mind.
Reply
Of course he isn't. Forgive me for my hasty conclusion.
Alright, then. [And he picks Mikhail up and hoists him on his shoulders, making sure that Mikhail is comfortable before slowly standing up.]
Hold tightly and be careful not to fall, alright?
Reply
[He pauses, looking down - suddenly the ground seems far away - but Mikhail wraps his arms around Kamal's head and feels safe.]
I won't fall. Let's go!

[And Soran places both hands on Mikhail's ankles to keep him from falling and starts walking, searching for other Katharon members-if they even were located in this place at all. Regardless, he had to bring this child to safety, and his brother too, if ever he found him. Despite what Mikhail says, his older brother is still just a kid, as well, and they both had to be protected.
He wondered for a moment if Gene-1 knew of any shelter for a child.]
In any case, I think I should contact someone. They might help us better.
Reply
Yeah, yeah! Do ya know anyone in partic'lar, Kamal?
Reply
Yes, Gene-1. He's around, and we could ask him to help us. And perhaps your older brother is with him too, waiting for you.
[Walks for a while before noticing an ice-cream stand. Oh well, it's still cold, but kids always like ice-cream, don't they? And this could give him an opening to use his communication device to request for assistance.]
Would you like some ice-cream, Mikhail?
