I refuse to do these in order!

Here are my 10 albums, I tag Lindsey and Devorah! I also de-tag Alex, meaning that he needs to delete his entry...

1) The All American Rejects- All American Rejects

I listen to this album when I feel angsty and have been since my senior year of high school. I still love it, and I think I enjoy every song on it. I don't know if they are really good, or if I'm sentimental, or maybe if all the songs just sound the same, but this album never fails to make me happy (in an angsty way).

2) Blink-182- Enema of the State

This was the second CD I ever purchased (the first one being that Hanson Christmas CD which is not as bad as you think it is!) and I still listen to it regularly. It's another one where I like all the songs on it, but like AAR it may be because they all sound the same.

3) Fall Out Boy- From Under the Cork Tree

I still like Sugar, We're Going Down Swinging and I had this CD before FOB was cool. Anything else you can take up with my fists.

4) The Muppets- Kermit Unpigged

Basically this is a CD of the Muppets getting lost in a recording studio and running into various (desperate for cash?) celebrities with whom they perform covers of quasi-classic songs. It gets kind of weak in the end, but the Ozzie/Miss Piggy version of "Born to Be Wild" is more than classic.

5) Snow Patrol- Final Straw

None of these songs stands out to me a lot (maybe Run) but what it boils down to is that I want to have sex to this CD.

6) Something Corporate- Leaving Through the Window

I like SoCo even more after seeing them here at Tech (yay!), and this is just one of those albums that I could listen to for a really long time. My favorite songs are probably "Fall" and "Hurricane."

7) stellastarr*- stellastarr*

Lindsey introduced me to My Coco, which is and will always be one of my favorite songs. Then by some miracle Levi had their album, which he burned for me and it's been love ever since. Love for the music, that is. Some of their songs are a little spacier than I like, but there are others that I can't get enough of. It balances out.

8) Taking Back Sunday- Tell All Your Friends

TBS was the first band I ever saw in concert, and that was because they were the first band we saw at HFStival. I hated it. I didn't like their music, people kept touching me, and it was really loud. However, by chance I decided to listen to one of their songs over a year later, and I loved it. I went ahead and bought the album, and it is the one currently in my CD player. They are so emo, and depending on my mood, it is hilariously overdone or incredibly well crafted. I just hope they never get on the radio.

9) Weezer- Pinkerton

I think it's better than any of Weezer's other albums. El Scorcho is on this CD, which is quite possibly my favorite song ever. Lindsey, thank you for burning this CD for me as it fills my heart with joy and Rivers love.

10) SPAMBETH- The Butterfly Project

This is a random mix that Beth and I created for Annie for her birthday back in 2004. We liked it so much that we burned copies for ourselves, and I still love it. Some of the songs have gotten a little old (such as "I Could Have Danced All Night" or "The Horoscope Song") but there are others (read: every Disney song on there) that I still love to bits. This CD never fails to make me smile.
