Jimmy's Friend anonymous February 22 2006, 22:10:39 UTC
First off, I LOVE meeting new people, so if you add me as a friend I'll be sure to add you back :-)

Now, about me: I'm Five-foot-two, one-hundred-and-ten-pounds of compacted cuteness. I have never smoked, tasted alcohol, or done drugs - and 'no' I'm not Mormon. That's not to say that I don't like to go out to bars and clubs with my friends - that's actually one of my favorite things - watching my friends get toasted and then being the designated driver.

I grew up in Yakima and went to Naches Valley (K-12), Yakima Valley Community College (A.A.), and finished at Central Washington University (B.S. Administrative Management, minor Information Technology).

When I was 21 I ran for State Representative in the 14th Legislative District in Yakima. I ran as a Democrat in a Republican dominanted region. I also ran as openly gay. My father ran in the same race as a Republican, but he lost his primary (I won mine!) to the incumbent. I'm sure to run again eventually (only in a more Democrat friendly environment). For my effort, I was recognized by many institutions and was named one of the OUT 100 of the year 2000 by OUT Magazine.

Yes, I'm one of those rare gays that believes in God. No, I absolutely don't expect you to share my beliefs - I welcome diversity and all beliefs (or lack of believing), and no, I don't post any Bible verses - to each their own.

In the summer of 2002 as I was finishing my degree I got to be on Wheel of Fortune when it came to Seattle... it was a blast, and I came in 2nd, winning $5,800.

After I graduated from Central Washington University, I moved to Seattle for the large gay community (plus its a goregous city). I currently work for an online retailer in a job that I really like, and have just started night classes through City University in Bellevue for my MBA.

I look forward to the future with no real definite plans, as I try to not just live for the destination, but enjoy the journey as well. I love life - I give it 100% all the time, even when I'm feeling low (which isn't that often). I also LOVE to practice Random Acts and Planned Acts of Kindness whenever possible.

Oh, and I'm never as serious as I sound in this 'biography'. PICKLES!
