school update
I just realized in my sleepy haze that I haven't updated at all on this school year.... weird. I was studying for an exam and actually wondered have I even written anything on this year.... I look and no! outrageous!
This entire semester could be summed up as my laziest ever.... like seriously. I don't do most of the reading for my classes, finish assignments a couple of hours before their due (bc I forget about them) LOL. my calendar is still missing stuff... I've explained it to ppl like this, stress levels can only be maintained for so long.... I mean really we were all trained to salute to the thermometer and stethoscope and now we're all just waiting to walk.
The lack of productivity has reduced my scores... which is unfortunate. I got a 75% in Med Surg... thats awful especially for me, when I pride myself on an 87% average. I like my Med Surg teacher though, she's good (out of touch with student needs; sent us an email today telling us ATI is on Monday- I actually think that Im not going to study for it, there's no time anyway, Ima try and focus on comm'a exam) communicates material well. All of my other teachers are blah
Im currently working in the ICU and I like it. It was my third time on the floor and I feel like I'm getting the hang of it. Still don't know my ABG's but I know how to work the suction! LOL
