House was lying in bed, covers wrapped snug around him, head resting comfortably on the pillow. He'd been shifting around for about ten minutes, trying to find a good position to sleep in, and he was thinking he'd finally found it. He closed his eyes, exhausted from the previous day, and hoped to fall asleep soon.
Wilson started moving against his side, and his eyes shot open in irritation. 'What the hell are you doing?'
Wilson, who was on the verge of slumber himself, scooted back, looking quite startled. 'I, um...' he trailed off, looking bewildered. House realised he had probably sounded more angry than he'd meant to, and rolled his eyes.
'Go back to sleep,' he said. 'Just none of that snuggling stuff, alright?'
Wilson settled back into the bed, shifting himself so that he was once again close to House. 'I wasn't snuggling,' he replied quietly. 'I was cuddling.'
'Were not,' House said, wrapping an arm around Wilson.
'Were too.' Wilson put an arm around House’s waist.
'No, this is cuddling.' House pulled Wilson closer, burying his face in Wilson's hair for a moment as he did so.
Wilson yawned. 'Whatever you say, House.'
‘Goodnight, Wilson.’
‘Goodnight, House.’
