something corianne said to me about my performance on the track is really ringing true as of yesterday. i got one call that sent me straight to the box (and subsequently straight back to the box upon illegal entry) proceeded to get in a snit about it. my problems with this sport really aren't physical, they're mental. my frustration makes me play unhappy and play sloppy (and most importantly ignore partnerships that i should be using on the track and try to go it alone, which DOES NOT WORK in derby), and i think it's hindering my improvement because i'm always being such a damn stick in the mud.
how do you change the way you think, though? how do you mentally train? i'm going to look into this and try to fix my problems, because as of right now i'm far too mentally unreliable to do any team any good, and i want more than anything to be the player the cosmos deserve.
