oh man... such weirdness...
so a global threat played at the state theater in st. pete last nite. i went because i used to really dig that band until they put out that one really shitty record a while back. so i figured i'd give them a chance to redeem themselves. i didnt plan on paying, so it was kind of jarrod to get me on the guest list. he was with greg and his girlfriend, who was taking pictures of the casualties. oh yea, i must hve forgotten to mention i stooped to the level of going to a casualties show. well, the grabass charlestons were playing (with against me!) last nite too, but that was an 18+ show, so eff that. so the show i went to was pretty wretched. too many spiky hair punkcore kids, but hey, what did i expect? other brandon kids were there, though, so we had a good time heckling people. the briggs played. haha they played in the basement of 99 custer st. two summers ago and they were really bad then, and still not great now. but i didn't see AGT, nor did i see the casualties. come to think of it, i only saw a couple songs by the briggs. jarrod was having himself a beer and i guess that's not kosher at the state theater if you're 17. greg and his crew were jarrod's ride, and they all saw him get thrown out, but no one did anything about it. so i left (yep, no re-entry) and found him and we decided to go to the show at sound idea, which by this early in the evening had only just started. so we went to that show and had a good time and then we went to greg's house and hung out with his little sister and watched the end of mallrats and ate her pizza. then greg came home and jarrod got his stuff out of greg's car and we went our separate ways. i was really tired on the way home, so tired i had to pull over on 75 and take like a 20 minute nap. sleeping on that highway is really hard when semis are passing you at 80mph. i passed a cop doing 105 and he didnt pull me over. maybe he couldn't believe a kia could go that fast.
my grandpa is coming to visit on tuesday. i can't wait to see him. we're going to have dinner and then im going to movie night. i really like spending time with jarrod and i hope he likes spending time with me.
