- can cut anything as long as she has something to act as an edge and the desire to do so; the edge can be anything from a yo yo string to a cord around someone's neck to a rubber band
- an inborn capability with weapons and fighting; where her brother could play a violin within five minutes of touching one for the first time, Fiona can do the same thing with any weapon, though her weapon of choice is, in fact, a yo yo (thank you, Uncle Aaron!)
- can see her own thread for brief (usually deeply unhelpful) glimpses into the future (like 'oh crap, I'm going to die' and some sensory bits and ends like 'feel of bricks' 'drip of blood' etc.)
- can see the "strings" and the weave between things; has no idea how to manipulate them, however, other than to cut and she won't unless SERIOUSLY pressed because it nearly killed her the last time.
- proficiency in a number of languages (written, not spoken) and more knowledge about obscure things than any teenager should have (though some of it might be out of date, considering the reference material she was using)
- her skin is a lot more resilient than most people's; she will feel things, but they won't necessarily break the skin.
- (world specific) can act as an Immortal or an Infernal
