Merry after Christmas and a happy new year!
Back to work today, I felt a bit glum when the alarm went off after 4 days of lazy bliss, but now I'm up and about I'm not too bothered!
I had a wonderful Christmas, I'm really tired now though. Christmas eve Adam and I headed back to my mum and dads and then we went out to Art of Siam for lovely Thai food with Lisa & Andy. I had a lovely tofu curry which I am now craving. Christmas Day was awesome, I had so many presents I was very spoiled. One of my favourite presents off Adam was a little set of lip gloss pots that were in the shape of different cup cakes, and my Howies jacket! And some Chanel Chance perfume off my mum and dad, it's gorgeous. Christmas dinner was a huge affair, mum had cooked veggie alternatives for everything meaty so we had the full works. A turkey style roast thing which actually tasted ok but looked scary, and the full load of trimmings. Stuffed!
My big big big news is that yesterday we rang a British Short Hair breeder on the offchance they might have an older kitten/young cat available. We've been wanting to get a cat for a while but weren't keen on a kitten, and really wanted a BSH. Anyway she had an 18 month old male that was being retired from being shown, and they don't have room for another male cat. We went to see him and fell in love instantly! He is a lilac point shorthair with sparkling blue eyes, and has the biggest paws I've ever seen on a cat! And his tail is really fat and stubby. He's the size of a small dog and he's not fully grown yet! He was so lovely. She is going to have him neutered and then we can collect him a week after that. I want him now! Excited!!!!
