(no subject)
I have just had a really wonderful couple of days off. Adam has been off too, which is miraculous as he's been working 6 day weeks and 13 hour shifts recently so it's been pretty awesome spending time together in daylight!
On Friday we went to town shopping, and went to Earth Cafe which was delicous as usual. I had spinach dahl and a bit of Adam's Spanish burger! Then I got a phonecall from the Pier saying our table and chairs for the garden were going to be delivered that evening so we waited in for them, and played with the ferrets for a bit. The garden furniture is great, I can't wait til the summer weather actually arrives and we can use it. Then in the evening we went to watch Wall-E. It was AMAZING. So lovely, I want to watch it again!
Saturday we planned on walking into Chorlton for lunch and then have a few drinks and see where the day takes us, but then the sun came out for ten minutes so we went to Dunham Massey instead and went on a big walk round the gardens, I've never been before, it's beautiful. We saw lots of fallow deer and rabbits, and the sun even came out for a while! I also payed my first visit to Unicorn, a vegan cooperative supermarket! It's brilliant, I can't believe I've never been before, I bought so much stuff for a picnic, and some organic fruity beer. Shall be trying that later I think.
So this week I'm only working Monday and Tuesday as Adam's got the whole week off! He's getting some tattoo done on Tuesday but Weds-Sunday we have to spend as we wish! Going to Alton Towers and Blue Planet Aquarium too.
