We have MOVED!
It's awesome. I'm so glad to have that horrible building out of my life!
So we now live at number 5 Elladene Park. We live next door but one to Andy Moore and Steph, which is awesome, and our next door neighbours are really sweet and have 3 ferrets and have asked us (and Andy & Steph) to take care of them when they go on holiday next week. Ferrets!
So our house now consists of a hallway, which we have painted yellow, a spare room which is now full of wardrobes and drawers and bikes and towels and stuff, a really really big master bedroom with a huge bed, and we have painted it in a really nice calming green and caramel colour, a living/dining room with french doors onto the GARDEN, and the a kitchen. The garden is easily the best thing about the place, I'm so excited about it. We have already had loads of birds and squirrels and a 3 legged cat visiting. I've been taking pictures of it all so I'll post them up soon.
It's in a nice little close, and it back on to Chorlton cycle way so it's really private. I'm dead happy with it. We are having some garden dining furniture delivered soon and then we just need a dining table and chairs and we'll be sorted!
Since we've moved it's been pretty none stop but I'm enjoying it. The day we got the keys was actually Stephs' birthday BBQ, her and Jess had made tonnes of gorgeous cakes so we took full advantage of being a matter of meters away and kept popping over for cake and BBQ food. Then on Saturday the Chorlton Food Eaters (which generally consists of me, Adam, Moore, Steph, Jess, Carpet, Sam, Holly and now Tony and Louise) went out to Yakisoba for some lovely grub and then to Argyles for expensive but delicious cocktails. Living within SAFE walking distance of great places is just wonderful.
It's my graduation thing tomorrow, what a load of nonsense. I'll be very glad when it's over and done with!
Adam has a week off at the end of July, which is pretty unheard of as he works 6 days a week at the moment, with a lot of 'full day' shifts (7am -7.30pm) so we haven't had all that much free time together. I can't wait, we've got lots of fun stuff planned. Things are going amazingly in pretty much every aspect of my life at the moment, it's really bad that I'm just waiting for something to go wrong... Actually, our freeview box doesn't work here so I can't watch Hollyoaks on E4+1, maybe that's the bad thing.
And finally................FEST!
