Oh, wait, Idea: the three big music festivals: Monterey Pop, Woodstock, and Altamont. And those three kinda represent the transition of the mid-late 60s, too. Monterey was like, "Wait...look at what we can do! Holy shit, this is awesome!" Woodstock was the archetype of the free music festival, of course, and then Altamont kinda woke everybody back up from the dream of "The Sixties." (At least to Americans; the British tend to fall in with Mick Taylor's view on it; when he was later asked if Altamont was the 'end of the Sixties,' he replied, "Well, yes -- it *was* December 1969." Brits FTW.) Plus they're really easy to get decent images from in Google!
(Okay, and the Who looked really good at Woodstock, and the Stones looked really good at Altamont. Just sayin'.)
And EEEE, Clockwork Orange! That movie blew my fucking mind when I first saw it, let me tell you! Brilliant. The book's excellent as well - Kubrick had the US version which left out Burgess' last chapter, which is a shame...I think they thought it was too "British" an ending! The language is hard to get through sometimes, but you should read it sometime if you like the movie. :D
And wow, I hadn't heard about the Smith bill thingie...ew. Oh my god, it was introduced by the Republican from my state...FUCK YOU, I DIDN'T VOTE FOR YOU, YOU ASSHAT. Conservative ideologies like this would be almost funny in their level of ridiculousness - if so many people didn't agree with it. D: Yeah, well, of course, if you get raped, it's probably your own fault, amirite? LOLZ. I should write a nasty letter to this Smith person.

Omg, I was wondering about the book! I took a look at it in the summer and thought it was insane cuz there were so many random made-up words but... guhh I kinda really wanna read it anyways now! XD If it's anywhere near as good as the movie, I'm in! ;D
Ewww, that sucks D: I couldn't even believe the bill when I saw it, I literally thought it was a satire for a while there XD Too bad it's not :S That Smith guy is prob a rapist or summat. Pete would approve of him anywho.. XD
