So I got suddenly really pissed at the world and was staring at these mounds and mounds of cherries my mom just bought, waiting for someone to eat them (but everyone's sick of fruit except me, cuz I NEVER am, muwahahha XD)

And then it hit me! I SHALL GO FORTH AND MAKE CHERRY ICE CREAM. (Or at least, some sort of vanilla with cherries throughout XD ( Read more... )

You don't like Christian Bale as Batman?? Wow xD He's by far my favorite Batman... second fave was Val Kilmer. I really did love Heath as the Joker though. He's my favorite character out of all the comic books in existence. Poor Heath though :(

I dunno, he was a great actor, but just Batman himself. Like, what was up with him killing everybody and being evil!
But I agree, Heath was amazing. :( He was so good that it's hard to believe that he died so soon after that role. : /

A lot of people were saying it was directly BECAUSE of that role that he died... it was an accidental overdose of sleeping meds, I think... and he was really troubled over the role he played in The Dark Knight. That's why he wasn't sleeping properly :/ Kind of bums me out watching it when I know that, but it was such a fantastic performance that I can't keep myself away from it.

Batman didn't really kill anyone that I remember... I think his whole MO is kind of, "I won't kill you, but if you're scum I won't save you either." Kind of a passive aggressive approach :P He is much darker than the other Batmans though, but it's intentional... the atmosphere the director created is a much darker Gotham City than we're used to. Batman was tweaked to fit his surroundings :)

...and now I sound like a complete movie geek, so I'm done now xD

Well yeah I guess you're right. He ALMOST killed like 10 people though. XD Hehe, but you're right, it fits with the darker surroundings.

Oh, thanks anyways about the beta! :D I usually beta my own crap writing too, but I've got like a shitload of fics and too much laziness atm, haha. Thanks though!

I LOVED "The Dark Knight"!!! :D I'm a HUGE Batman fan and I've watched all the films, all of the 60s TV show and movie, the cartoons (including The Justice League ones and I ship him with Wonder Woman/Diana!!! :D), and have read some of the comics!!! :D Batman/Bruce is totally my favorite superhero!!! <3 Plus, it was so angsty with what was happening with Bruce and I related it to what really happened in the comics and that the Joker was really the one who killed Bruce's parents in front of him as a kid. :( Bruce has a LOT of issues because of that, and this is a darker tone and explores that.

Which going back to the Wonder Woman/Batman ship is why I think they work so well!!! <3 They flirt SO much in the comics and cartoons, and Diana can see through him and get to the real Bruce inside who is still that scared little boy!!! <3 But DC is just SO scared to go there, but they totally should. ;) That's another fandom I want to write about for fics!!! :D ( ... )

Hee, you seem to have a distinct lack of support for your non-extremely-impressed-ness (wow, hello hyphens!) with the Dark Knight! I gotta admit, I'm in the OMFG I <3 that movie camp. Heat Ledger was amazing, in case that needed to be said again, I do like the dark take on Batman, and I will watch ANYTHING with Christian Bale in it. Seriously, anything. =D
