Oooh, haunting. I think my favourite part was where you described the PotC crew so succinctly:
"...the girl with the lady's dress and the harlot's eyes, at a pirate with a broken compass, at a ridiculous metamorphism of a heart-wrung captain, a foolish governor, and a lovelorn Admiral."
