So, if all haven't already heard,
Lt. Gillette might be back for PotC4. ::squee:: There is some photographic evidence to support this over at
razor_wit ...but it is as controversial as the Patterson film of Bigfoot. The question is, if that really is wjo we think it is...how did he manage to escape the clutches of Beckett in PotC3? Speaking of Beckett, we know how he came to seduce acquire James' loyalty, but there is no backstory on how he seduced acquired Theodore Groves. Personally, I think it involed silk stockings and sodomy on the desk, but that's just me. What has always interested me is that Groves interacts with Cutler the same way he intercted with Norrington: mouthing off. Does Cutler feel the same way about Groves as Norrington did? Exasperated affection? Did he ever tell Mercer to "Apply the boot to him [Groves] - medium style"? And how do Murtogg and Mullroy fit into Beckett's schemes? Were they just in the right place at the right time and got hired? 'Cause it looked to me like Beckett brought plenty of people with him when he came over in PotC2. Were they brought on so as not to leave any loose ends and cause mischief?
