An assassin should be quiet in all aspects of his life. Neither seen nor heard. And for the most part he is. He nary sees the man during his normal every day life unless he has specifically requested for him.

Except.

Except for when he is sharpening his blades. The grating noise of the blade against the noise is the most interruptive sound he has ever heard. He tries to scribble more violently against the paper, as if a purposefuly disrupting noise bothers him less then one that is unintentional. But somehow, and it is beyond him how, but the noise gets gradually louder, just enough to make up for the increased volume.

He's had enough. He flits across the room with amazing speed and grabs the rock from him. "You are only to sharpen that blasted thing if you've used it enough to warrant a sharpening." He says darkly.

He is met with a silent smile and he gives one in return.

But of course it has warranted one. How silly of him.
