Summary: (Post AWE, AU, time travel, sequel to LONGITUDE, which should be read first.) After spending some time bouncing through the decades with Mother, Beckett finally finds himself back at home in 1773, just a year after his original departure. With the prospect of a used, trashed map that formerly belonged to Jack Sparrow bringing Beckett enough expected profit in order to break even with his debt to Mother, all signs point to recapturing his former glory days. Save, of course, for a visit to the crumbling castle of Count Saltykova and the bitter darkness that lays within it.
