home sweet home
well..i'll recap on what happened the last day in cali:
*tuesday night we all (me, lauren, brianne, karly, nikki, jess, broc, allen and mike) went to denny's at like 12:00 (am). then stayed up till 5:30 am (at home) just talking. we managed to fit pretty much all of us on one futon..like a big happy family. lol. sorta. anyways, that was really fun. then mike left and we all cried. then went to bed..only to wake up at 7:00 am cuz they were going to new york that same day. so we said a tearful goodbye. then we stayed up after they left cuz we were going to universial studios. that was fun. kewl rides. then we went to the airport..our flight was at 10:45 pm...and we arrived in detroit at 6:10am. we lost 3 hours...and were on (us kids) about 4 hours of sleep (between the 2 hours at night and any possible time on the plane).
so we came home today and i opened all my mail: a letter from wayne state that informs me that i lost one of my scholarships. then i went online to check my e-mail: an e-mail from wayne state that informs me that i'm on academic probation and need to talk to an advisor or i cant register. then my uncle calls (he had my car to take to his shop because it was making a noise): my time chains are screwed and eventually, (actually, very soon) if i keep driving it, they will break or whatever and blow up my engine. i think his exact words were "get rid of it as soon as you possibly can." isn't that awesome. $6500 for a 97 explorer..which i havent even had for a year..and i have to get rid of it before it is completely shot. (B.T.W.-it would cost JUST in labor $1500 for a new time belt and if my engine blew, like $5000 or something). WELCOME HOME MALLORY! shit.
i'm trying not to let it get to me, but it sucks really bad. all of it....obviously. but hopefully things will all get better and work out ok. I HOPE! *crosses fingers*
