DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE DONE....
I never thought this day would come, but I'm actually done with school and that's forever if I so choose. Actually, I'll prolly start taking classes for a master's in social work...or at least that's the plan right now considering I can't get a job. It's not a real grad program, it's actually designed to help people in whether or not they want to persue an MSW. I applied to work as a bank teller for now, so exciting I know. Not exactly well paid but I'll take $10 an hour for now until i get some experience and maybe I can move up or whatever. Maybe I'll like the social work thing and stick with it, get my master's and work for the state making $60k and have awesome benefits.
Tommorow's graduation...it's gonna be boring, they don't even call our names. Two hours of long, BORING speeches from people I haven't even heard of. I don't know who I'll be next to either. All I know is it'll suck to be bored with no one to talk to for 2 hours!
I feel so relieved though. No more exams to worry about or stupid papers. no more Dave benjamin failing half the class cuz we were supposed to read his mind and give him rough drafts. School is such crap. they get a bunch of genius researchers and tell them to teach and then they just don't know how. I've had some awesome professors here at UConn and I'll never forget them, but I've had such TERRIBLE ones that just make me want to die.
Either way, I had a great 4 years. I made some amazing friends and got a great boyfriend out of it. Hopefully the next chapter in my life is just as wonderful (cheesy I know).
