haven't done this in a while
West to NYC yesterday with nicole and christin. we went everywhere and did a shitload of walking. we went to the guiggenheim, something I don't remember ever doing. we had dinner with christin's brother in the village that had really good cheesecake. Nothing beats a $2 bus trip...Nothing. I bought some pretty eyeshadow from the MAC counter at Macy's...it's sparkly.
I got a job offer on thursday with an advertising and marketing firm called Wild Enterprises. it sounds like a good way to gain experience for a company abd everyone is my age. the thing is, it's 10 hour work days and I would be a salesperson going door to door targeting small businesses. Granted, the point of doing it is to eventually become a manager. it's supposed to be a training program to get you to that level, they believe that you have to do the dirty work to relate to the people below you and to coach them better. I totally see that, it makes perfect sense. the question is, do I wanna work 10 hour days and only make $500 a week with no benefits for about 6-8 months with the hopes of receiving all the perks of working on salary and rediculous benefits and commission?? Decisions decisions which must be made by Tuesday...
