It's been a while..
My apartment is a drafty box o’ lincoln logs! It’s freeeeezing inside and outside and a total wind storm, which makes the shutters slam against my windows. The first time it happened, I was positive a psychotic 280 pound man was coming in through my bathroom window and I was terrified. Now it’s just off-putting. Other than the gusty squalls, I am doing pretty well. I just got off the phone with Addya and spent a good few hours with Adrienne. It’s refreshing to be in their presence (physically or via cellphone towers). I love that we keep in good touch and can fall right back into one another’s lives when the stress of life makes it especially difficult to keep up.
Tonight, Adrienne and I went to an authetic diner on Mass Ave… I had Eggs Benedict!!!! We saw Atonement (very sad but very good), and we got to catch up/flirt ;)
I talked to Addya and she said I was growing up! I think I am a little bit too, but maybe it’s just the simple fact that I am more realistic now.
I went home this past Thursday afternoon through Saturday afternoon, and yet I still miss my family a ton tonight. I am so lucky to have my parents and sisters. Our texting wars border on the inappropriate (they texted me during church today..), and they keep us all knit together.
I am going to Shaina O’Lerio’s last game in the Special Olympic basketball league this Wednesday night. My mom said they are the most hilarious and fun games to see in the world. The team is ecstatic because local cheerleaders are going to be at their next game…
I am lazily sending my resume to places like St. Mary’s Home for Girls and a few PR places… let’s hope I get some bites or some fame or something!
