monday update!
went to marisa's school sign up last night. Adventure Christian Academy. private school. met her old pre-k teacher. got three strikes against her. she commented on my shortness. strike one. she asked if i felt old having such younger siblings. strike two. she said i looked like my father. totally strike three and ur out lady!!!
i finished Snow Falling on Ceders. truely a beautiful and interesting novel. finished it two days before schedule but that means i'll have a head start on Obason. yay.
gave danny a bath around noon. then went out to work him aroun 2 or so. he was already starting to sweat again. poor guy. worked the bucks out then tacked him up. did a few jumps in the feild. at least he likes to jump. then we took it easy on the road. Cowboy decided to join us for the first time in a long time. of course, he was only in it for the pond up the road, which he lept into, but it was nice seeing the old man hobble along with us. i can't believe he's 9! he's still a good looking dog though, besides his limp and one ear that cocks to one side. and not to mention the grey hairs around his nose!
danny was soaked by the time we got home. it was sooo incredibly hot out. reminds me of those days out at summer wind. after danny's second bath i collapsed inside. at least this way i'm used to the heat and prepared for band camp. take that biotches!!!
Shane, me, and cowboy camped in the garage while the rain moved in. i love thunderstorms. so nice. just the smell of fresh rain hitting the earth is comforting to me.
then took a looooong shower. also, very relaxing.
watched Wildfire. it's alright i guess. teenage soap opera as my step dad put it last week. that makes me laugh.
my cat has been comming home every night since i've been here. poor thing waited a whole three weeks for me. i don't like that she just disappears when i'm not around. really, where would she go? oh well, a mystery that will forever be left unresolved.
i guess registration is in a couple days. i'll be there. then i'll be back here until the sunday before band camp. well, gotta go. toodles!!!
