The best way to give yourself a healthy self-esteem boost

So I have to say that one of the most frustrating times in a person's life is when looking for a job. You have so much uncertainty: you don't know and have little control over when, where, why and how you find the job that you want. Not to mention all that possible rejection. It's really something that can crush your hopes, ambitions, and even do quite a number on the very self-esteem and confidence that you need in order to get a job.

Luckily, I've discovered a little secret to keeping the spirits up even in times of extreme frustration. And that secret is this: the gym. I'm amazed I didn't think of it before, but this is a great solution. Aside from keeping fit and all those health benefits that I won't go into because it'll take forever, there's the self-esteem boost. All this on top of the fact that it keeps you busy and your body looking good, which is very important for those interviews (which have yet to come, but I'll keep on hoping).

So I guess $50 a month for membership would be money well spent. And who knows? Maybe I'll meet my next employer or even better yet, love interest at the gym. ;)
