So I havent updated in a long ass time. Spring semester started.. 6 classes-19 credits = a shitload of work. Fortunately one of the classes was bowling (cause my school is dumb and requires "gyms") so that one is over as of last thursday. Now I'm down to my 5 hardcore 200-300 level classes. Which is a shit load of work. 2 out of these 5 classes I'm pretty sure I'll be getting A's in. I have a Fine Arts class which is also another dumb requirement by my school.. that I've handed in 3 outta 4 papers so far..and we learn about the 4th paper on thursday I think...so I'll try to finish that one early too.. but I've done alright on the ones he's handed back, and havent missed any classes.. so I should be alright in that class. we have our midterm on thurs, so if I get an A or B on that, then I should be all set in that class too.
But there are 2 other classes (law and bus 361) that I'm not sure how I'm gonna pass them. Law is just so much information its crazy, and I was out with the flu when we had our midterm and my teacher doesn't know how to reply to you..so I've had to wait til tonight to talk to him, so we'll see what I can work out with him.. kinda sucks with spring break being next week (I dont wanna be coming to school over break, retarded!).. but I heard there were 5 essays on there, and yeah, the thing was on 10 chapters, so I'm not lookin forward to making it up.. and then we have another test on like 5 ish chapters in a couple weeks... and then the final is on every chapter we've learned (gotta be like 20 chapters)..other than those we have one paper due in the class.. so I need to ace the paper.. and idk what to do with the tests to make sure I can get a B in the class.. hes a new teach to our school and doesnt seem to understand everything fully, so I'm thinking extra credit is OUT of the question.
Then 361 is a course that was totally off what it said it was ... I read like 2 different things about it and it seemed to be interesting.. systems and operations. I figured itd be more like operations in a business or some shit. well turns out its all about IS and IT.. i.e. BORING. and the teacher doesn't teach that well, and the powerpoints he hands out, mostly are more questions and less actual INFO. Then on our 3 quizzes and midterm weve had so far (another quiz on thurs. =[ ) prolly like half of them was covering information none of us had heard about before.. (i.e. not in lecture or the chapters)...so how the FUCK are we supposed to pass this shit. Then he tells us about extra credit in class last night, and its attending two events.. which I cant do cause I'm at work! *angry face* so I told him and he says that there will be another event he'll have to go to.. uhm.. if its a fuckin event.. MOST LIKELY I wont be able to go, so the extra credit I NEED, i'm prolly gonna get screwed out of.. so I'll have to keep hounding it, cause I need as much extra credit as I can get with him.
Eastern really needs to rethink who it hires for teachers, and watch their curriculum and ways of teaching more closely, cause this isnt the first time that a teacher isnt really able to help me and others learn anything in their classes. and how can I pass shit and learn if the teacher is fucked. ughhh!
