My sister's wedding is over and was a success. Though we did have a few events that got in the way such as my mother's face swelling up the morning of the wedding from too much wine the night before..one of the bridesmaids took her to the hospital..she made it back in time for the wedding. In the middle of the wedding ceremony, the electricity went out..the lights, the microphones, the organ...they didn't go back on! I guess it was cool getting her married by candlelight. Later on and a few drinks later, I gave my speech, which turned out to be not so bad. I got a lot of compliments on it. I danced with my cousin at the reception who was high..his mother, my other cousin was completely gone before cocktail hour even began...thank God for camera's! Not to mention I, along with a few other bridesmaids actually got carded at the wedding! It was all in good fun though! My sister and her HUSBAND are now on their honeymoon in Maui..aparently they attempted to go snorkling but my sister got sick on the boat and spent the entire afternoon throwing up..ROMANTIC!...Everyone has left for school already..So now, I'm just waiting to leave for NY.
