(no subject)
so catholic cheer and dance both got 2nd in the competition, which is not too shabby.
my mom came with mark to see us this morning, so that made me happy.
i roomed with carson, katie, and jenna and it was a very good room.
things were not so organized and i was and am really sick. on the bus ride down friday, i felt fine, then all of a sudden, i felt like i had been hit by a large moving vehicle and was really not feeling good the entire time. i'm not going to school tomorrow, i gots a fever and feel like a large pile of crap.
on friday, carson and i gave blood at school. they missed my vein and went straight through hers. so, for about 5 agonizing :( minutes, we were both just chilling out with a huge needle probing our arms searching for acceptable veins. then, when they finally hit a vein, neither of us were able to fill up a whole pint. carson got about 75% full and i was probably closer to 90% full, then they just stopped it and can't use the blood at all. they do test it to make sure we don't have HIV or AIDS, which is a plus i guess. also, carson and i got some pretty sweet bruising from it, though hers is much more intense than mine.
this weekend, more than any other time, i realized how annoying girls can be. luckily, i picked some good ones to hang out with and it was basically a good time, minus my nasty flu-ish cold. pictures from the competition should be up soon.
also, i have 1-2 openings to come with me to see GUSTER at duke on april 26th, which is a wednesday, and then tour chapel hill on thursday. so, if you're interested, let me know and we'll see what we can do.
