(didn't take this picture, by the way, just liked it a lot.)
Soooo, as some of you know, I went to my first zombie walk on Saturday. I had a blast! I still haven't seen a count on how many were there, but there's rumors it was over 4900!
We got a little lost, and so we arrived late, (and I was driving, so I couldn't do it in the car...) and applied some quick five-minute zombie makeup.
AND BLOOD.
Got my evil death glare on.
And got into full zombie mode.
Surprisingly, Maddie went and zombied out, too. She's totally not the type to get into this, LOL.
And Jordan, who's a little more creative, picture-wise, than me and Maddie.
Right away, I found Waldo! (No Carmen D:)
Silent Hill and Resident Evil! There was another nurse out there, who's costume was honestly probably better, but this girl was in character and was awesome.
Baby zombie!
This is going to sound super creepy and weird, but I was oddly attracted to this guy. He stayed in character and was scary and there's something attractive about that to me.
Zombie attack!
The streets outside where they were doing free zombie makeup. The streets were literally red with (fake) blood.
This guy was really funny! Watched him chase a lot of cars and buses, he kind of reminded me of Fido... was kind of a friendly zombie.
We found an awesome sushi place called Deep Sushi (if you're ever in Deep Ellum, seriously, check it out) where we all had our first
Sake Bomb. The people here are so friendly and the food is excellent.
And, then I proceeded to ruin most of Maddie's pictures with a growling face.
But I cannot help it, it's a zombie's nature.
Somewhere along the walk, we got free tickets to see a Pink Floyd cover band at the House of Blues, so we went there. Got to walk around West End and could have gotten into an awesome haunted house, half price, but damn our limited time! Anyway, it was my first time at a House of Blues, and I love Pink Floyd, so I was excited.
PINK FLOYD! LASERSSSSS! (those don't translate well in pictures...)
And then we had to go home, because it was very late.
THE END IS NIGHHH
