Puzzle production progresses apace

I haven't been posting much, mostly because I've been real busy with secret stuff. But I can talk a little high-level about what's going on.

There's a little less than two months until the actual game, and of course there's a lot left to do, but I'm not panicking. I'm pleased with the personal dynamics amongst the team[s], and also with how dedicated all these people are. I felt a little guilty going to Burning Man! At this point I'm mostly nervous that the tremendous degree to which the community is excited about our event will lead to some amount of disappointment. But I've played in enough games that had big problems but have still been fun that I'm not too worried.

This weekend we did a partial field playtest. It was our second one, testing a different subset of the game, and this time a) I slept beforehand, b) I remembered to eat lunch, and c) we had way way less problems. I did have something come unstrapped from the roof of my car while on the highway, though. That was ... exciting? However everything was recovered with minimal damage, and zero personal injury,
