Going well
Things are going pretty well for me, except for dealing with my boss' computer!
Things are coming along with UMUC. I just checked on Financial Aid and they've posted info on loans just today. Need to call them soon and talk about the loan and get everything signed/figured out.
Friday I went to look at wedding dresses. I tried on 5 or 6, 3 of which I liked. Over the weekend I looked on the website at the dresses they didn't have in the store and didn't find any that compared to the third one I tried on. So, I'm going to order that dress! Because it has a few options it'll take about 3 months to come in.
Things have been pretty quiet at work since there are A LOT of people out of the office. The biggest issue right now is Ed's computer. On Friday I noticed that it was offline when I went to check one of our servers. It had a DLL error and was sluggish, so I rebooted. I ended up with a system32 error and it wouldn't boot! I ran scans, called Dell was handed from hardware to software and back to hardware, reinstalled windows, got more errors, worked with my supervisor and our IT consultant and finally today Dell decided to send us new RAM sticks and a new Hard drive. Good thing Ed's been out of town for the last two weeks! Ed is hard on technology and he admits to it. I don't even want to count the number of desktops, laptops and phones he's gone through since we both started a the Council!
