The day was bright, the voices of all the random people on the street were chattering, and there were cheers to the new year all around the park. In the midst of all this, Arche walked down the pathway with a skip in her step and a smile on her face. All the while trying to ignore the throbbing headache she had.
But other than that, she had no signs of the usual hangover. If only because she actually drank some of the water that Kaito suggested once they got out of the crowds. But unlike what Kaito suggested, she was determined to get out of the house and spend some time outside on the first day of the new year, headache or no headache. The half-elf admired the sights as she walked, still not completely used to the absolute lack of monsters on Earth.
Turning on her heel, she looked back at Kaito and grinned as she walked backwards, "You don't know how lucky you are to live here. Or at least, in this area."
