Sakura figma available for preorder starting today + NEWS
Yes, it's official, Sakura Kinomoto battle costume version FIGMA by Max Factory - Good Smile Company is available for pre order starting today!
This will be my last post about her since she is now up for preorder and all the needed information about her are out.
The official release date was also revealed: May 2015. That said, considering her nendoroid version release date has been changed twice already, I wouldn't know if we can trust this date 100% ^^;
Her official price is 6000jpy at GSC online store, but you will encounter her for lesser prices elsewhere; do take in consideration though, that the only way to get the bonus part (the star key) is to preorder it from the GSC online store.

Some details:
- Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
- A flexible plastic is used for important areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
- She comes with a cute smiling face, her classic embarrassed expression and a confident expression for 'Release' poses!
- Cerberus (Kero-chan), her Sealing Wand, a Clow Card, Star Wand and Sakura card are all included.
- Wing parts that attach to the Sealing Wand, as well as wing parts that attach to Sakura's back are both included, allowing for both forms of her 'Fly' spell.
- An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.
For the ones who didnt' notice, she is very much like her nendoroid version poses wise, which is done on purpose of course, so I think it will be rather amusing to put both versions of her (nendo and figma) next to each other with similar poses :) That said, I confess her Hanyyyaann! face is really not as cute in figma as it is in nendoroid: it might have been better not to have kept her mouth shut like they did here, somehow it feels off...?
Bonus part (when preordering directly from GSC):
For the ones who don't know (or forgot), a bonus part was also gifted to the people who pre--ordered Sakura Nendoroid from GSC online store: it was the sealing wand in the form of a charm. So by pre-ordering nendo and later on figma, the buyers got both keys as charms; that's a nice touch considering they really didn't need to do that for the rabbid fans of CCS worldwide to buy.
