Nakayoshi 60th Anniversary Edition - Card Captor Sakura new edition
It was announced a while back on Clamp's BLOG (december 27th, 2014) that a new edition of CCS would be released, but I am only posting about it now, exactly one month before it's official release, because I can now make a detailled entry about it, with enough info.
The gorgeous new illustration you can see above was announced to be the cover of volume 1 of the new edition, how lovely is it?!!! :D It's kind of bittersweet to know that all the covers will very likely only be featuring Sakura herself and no other characters though...
As part of the celebrations of the 60th Anniversary of Nakayoshi (magazine in which Card Captor Sakura was published), a special edition of the manga has been announced.
Instead of the 1st edition's 12 volumes, this commemorative version will have only 9 volumes, and all the covers will be new illustrations drawn by CLAMP.
Each volume will also include a different card inside: if all 9 are put together, they form an entire picture. Don't hold your breaths though, since it is an old artwork, which is quite disapointing: since they went so far as releasing a new Deluxe edition with new covers, the 'extra' included in there in the form of illustrations cards should have been something new too...
And finally, and this is definitely the most special thing about this new edition, is that it comes with the digital version of the book + the digital version of the latest and unreleased illustrations, which is pretty much all the artworks Clamp created for the mobile game, and all the illustrations made specially for many different events and merchandise these past 2 years, like Ichiban Kuji (lottery) or the Art Exhibition which are still on going in Japan right now and so on...
Release date: volumes 1 & 2 on March 27th, 2015 and volume 3 & 4 on April 24th, 2015

The volumes are released simultaneously on the same day, but they are not sold as a set, but separately
They say it's a "Deluxe" edition, we will have to se, but considering the price, it should be nice!

From what I could see, there is nothing special about this website, you just need to register with a username/password/email and that's it, and afterward you will obviously need the info included in the flyer inside the book (a code?) which will explain to you how to access the material. That said, I only thook a quick look at Step 1 (out of 3) of the registration process, so maybe they ask for something else later on...
