nails!
I've reached my limit. I tried to see how long I could grow out my nails and this has to be the longest it ever has been.
Unfortunately, I decided on a whim to clip them off last night and replace them with nail chips. It's my first time working with fake nails and I would have done it at the salon but I'm not sure they have nice designs there. Plus, I think I save a lot of $$$ (there were 100 nail chips for $6) this way.
It did take my a while to do them because I had to shape ALL of them because apparently I have slim nails. Anyways, this is how it came out:
Very similar to the design I did back in October. Damn, I can't believe it has been 5 months since that. Anyways, having long nails like this, make me realize how much torture many girls put themselves through. Not to mention how time consuming everything gets.
Here are some long nail complications:
- Putting on and taking off contacts have just gotten more difficult.
- At the moment, I am having a hard time typing this. I probably made 30 typos so far. My nails keep getting stuck between the keys. ><
- This goes without saying that texting (especially since my cell is touch screen) is a bitch too.
- Can't unbutton pants.
- Took me forever to take my microSD out from my cellphone to upload these pictures.
- I have to be even more careful when using my eraser.
- It's pretty. Makes me feel like a girl.
- A great page flipper.
- A handy weapon. Rawr.
This goes to show that it is not easy to become beautiful. I'll probably end up taking them off this weekend because I need my fingers to type my essays :P
