"She'd have to get better to die."

IT LIVES! I went on the cruise on the 6th. I was rooming with my bro who had been extremely sick. By the 7th, I was sick. I attended one dinner night. I gambled a little, drank a little, danced a little. But I felt horrible the entire time. On the brighter side, I won a cruise! It's for next year, 5 day, and over New Years.

My Gmas hubby and herself were not able to attend this cruise because he ended up in the hospital with a failing kidney a day before the cruise. The really sad part is the fact that my gma decided to pay for everyone to go on this cruise. So I decided to give it to them.

So i've been super sick since. 102 temp, throwing up constantly, stuffy nose, sore throat, bad cough, etc. So I ended up in the hospital. keggan_dockery ended up taking me to urgent care one day, I stayed for about 3 hours. The doc said I had a bad throat infection...big deal. Apparently I was pretty dehydrated. They took my pulse laying down...it was 91. Then they took it standing up, and it shot up to 144. So they hooked me up to an IV, gave me some antibiotics and 1000mL of Dextrose. My mom was angry that I didn't wake her up to take me, but she had just worked a 16 and I figured I was going to go in and they would write me a prescription for something and that would be the end of it.

I've stopped throwing up, stopping spitting up and blowing out blood, I am eating now, and hopefully i've gained back some of the 20 lbs I lost. If you thought I was skinny before, I'm down to 126. I'm disgusted with my weight and the way I look right now. I'm coming back, slowly but surely. I've had the best nurses taking care of me though. My mother and my Matts'. :)

I am soooooo sad that I missed alumni night. I wanted to be there badly. When I get better, I will be back.
